Due to work requirements, the Chinese Embassy in Korea is now publicly recruiting 1 clerical staff member to work primarily in Chinese-Korean translation. We welcome applications from eligible candidates.

1. Application requirements
(1) Friendly towards China
(2) Korean nationality, 35 years old or younger, undergraduate degree or above
(3) Proficient in Chinese, strong Chinese-Korean translation ability
(4) Proficient in using computer office software
(5) Conscientious, strong sense of responsibility, follow arrangements, and have a sense of teamwork
(6) No criminal record, healthy, and no other factors that could affect normal work
(7) Able to start work immediately upon hire

(3) Final academic certificate (copy of graduation certificate)

4. Examination and hiring procedure
(1) The embassy will conduct a preliminary review of all the application materials submitted by the applicants and notify those who meet the requirements to participate in the examination. Those who do not attend the examination at the time of the notification will be deemed as automatic renunciation. Applicants who have failed the preliminary review will not be notified separately and we will not accept inquiries
(2) The examination consists of interview and written test. It mainly assesses applicants' Chinese and Korean language proficiency, and their ability to coordinate and respond to work.
(3) Top candidates will be selected for employment based on the examination results. After the employment, a trial period of 1 month will be conducted to communicate the details and salary of the employment. Those who pass the trial will sign a long-term employment contract.
